Ingredients

  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, blanch cauliflower florets for 3 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Gradually add water to the flour mixture, whisking until smooth.
  4. Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, making sure to coat evenly.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the battered cauliflower in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
  7. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with tahini sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
