  • 2 cups ziti pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; remove and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and sliced red bell pepper until soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, and garlic powder; let simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Cook ziti pasta to al dente as per package instructions; drain.
  6. In a large bowl, mix the cooked sausage, sautéed vegetables, pasta, and half of both cheeses.
  7. Transfer this mixture into a greased baking dish, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
