  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic, and ginger to create a marinade. Add the sliced protein, ensuring it’s well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, mix water and cornstarch until smooth. Slowly add the marinade to the saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and bubbles.
