Ingredients
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup Asian pear, peeled and grated
- 2 tablespoons kiwi, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup yellow onion, grated
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice wine
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 scallions, finely chopped

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, and water until the sugar dissolves.

Add the grated Asian pear, kiwi, and onion to the bowl along with the garlic and ginger, stirring to combine.

Stir in the sesame oil, rice wine, sesame seeds, black pepper, and chopped scallions until evenly blended.
