Ingredients

  • 3 cups cantaloupe, cubed and chilled
  • 2 cups honeydew melon, cubed and chilled
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4 small basil sprigs, for garnish

Method

  2. Blend on high speed until completely smooth, about 45 seconds, scraping down the sides if needed.

  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional honey if desired, then blend again briefly to combine.

  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to deepen the flavor, if time allows.

  5. Fill four glasses with ice cubes and pour the melon basil mixture evenly among them.

  6. Garnish each glass with a small basil sprig and serve immediately.
