These mini sliders layer deli turkey and melted cheese between buttery dinner rolls, baked just until the cheese softens and the tops turn golden. A quick glaze of melted butter brushed over the buns adds richness and a light crust. They work well for game-day spreads, lunchboxes, or an easy weeknight dinner that comes together with minimal prep.

Ingredients

  • 12 dinner rolls (plain, sliced in half horizontally as a sheet)
  • 1 pound deli turkey, thinly sliced
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese or Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with foil or parchment.

  2. Slice the connected dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms as two intact sheets, and place the bottom half in the prepared pan.

  3. Spread the mayonnaise and mustard evenly over the cut side of the bottom bun layer.

  4. Layer the turkey slices evenly over the buns, followed by the cheese slices.

  5. Place the top bun layer over the cheese to form the sliders.

  6. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, onion powder, and salt.

  7. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the buns.

  8. Cover the pan loosely with foil and bake until the cheese melts and the sliders are heated through.

  9. Remove the foil and bake uncovered until the tops are lightly golden.

  10. Let the sliders cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then slice along the seams into individual sliders and serve warm.
