Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup Port wine
- 8 slices Swiss cheese

- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced

- 4 whole brioche buns

- In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
- While the onions caramelize, form the ground beef into 4 equally sized patties. Season each patty with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat until they reach the desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium.

- Assemble the burgers by placing a cooked patty on the bottom half of each brioche bun. Top with 2 slices of Swiss cheese, a generous portion of sautéed mushrooms, and caramelized onions. Drizzle the Port wine reduction over the assembled ingredients, then cover with the top half of the bun.
