These no-bake protein balls combine rolled oats, peanut butter, and honey with a scoop of protein powder for a chewy, portable snack. Mix, chill, and roll into bites that work well for post-workout fuel, lunchbox treats, or a quick breakfast on busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons water, as needed

Method

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and salt.

  2. Add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract, then mix until a thick, sticky dough forms. If the mixture is too dry to hold together, add water 1 tablespoon at a time.

  3. Fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  4. Cover the bowl and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to firm up for easier rolling.

  5. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll between your palms into a 1-inch ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture to form about 20 balls.

  6. Store the balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
