Ingredients

  • 2 lbs yukon gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb reblochon cheese, rind removed, diced
  • 200 g lardons
  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the lardons over medium heat until crispy. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the onions until soft and translucent.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish. Top with half of the cooked lardons, onions, and diced cheese. Lightly season each layer with salt and pepper.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, lardons, onions, and cheese.
  6. Pour the white wine evenly over the top of the dish.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Let the Tartiflette rest for 5 minutes before serving.
