Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, Greek yogurt, and baking powder until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, adding flour as needed to prevent sticking, then divide it into 4 equal parts.
  3. Roll out each dough piece into an oval shape roughly 10 inches long, then fold the edges to create a boat shape with a border to hold the filling.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and crumbled feta cheese. Fill each dough boat evenly with the cheese mixture.
  5. Make a well in the center of the cheese filling of each boat and carefully crack an egg into each well, ensuring the yolk remains whole.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the dough is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and place a tablespoon of butter on top of each egg. Let it melt before serving.
