Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef bones
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 cups carrots, chopped
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place beef bones on a baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes until browned.
- In a large pot, sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add roasted beef bones, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and paprika; stir well.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, occasionally skimming off any foam.
- Add carrots and celery; continue simmering for another hour until vegetables are tender.
- Taste, then season with salt and pepper as needed.
