- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 box lasagna noodles
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef and pork in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, dried oregano, and dried basil to the meat. Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- In a separate bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until well combined.
- Lay down a thin layer of meat sauce in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread a portion of the cheese mixture on top. Add another layer of meat sauce. Continue layering noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce until all ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
