  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it achieves a smooth consistency. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the baking soda to it.
  5. Divide the risen dough into small segments. Wrap each dough segment around a piece of bratwurst, forming bite-sized pieces.
  6. Boil the formed pretzel bites in the baking soda water for 30 seconds, ensuring they don’t stick to the pot.
