  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Rinse the bulgur wheat in a fine-mesh strainer under cold water, then drain well.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the bulgur, ground beef, chopped onion, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, pine nuts, mint leaves, salt, and pepper thoroughly.
  3. With wet hands, shape the kibbeh mixture into small oval-shaped balls.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the kibbeh balls in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Serve the kibbeh hot with a side of salad and yogurt sauce.
