  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken wing in buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  4. Brush lightly with vegetable oil and place in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook in batches for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer cooked chicken wings to a bowl and pour the spicy glaze over them.
  8. Toss until wings are evenly coated in the glaze.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
