  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse and soak the chickpeas overnight if using dried chickpeas. Drain and rinse again before using.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, yogurt, and tamarind chutney.
  3. Add the finely chopped red onion, diced tomato, and diced cucumber to the bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the chaat masala, cumin powder, and red chili powder over the mixture.
  5. Gently toss everything together until well combined.
  6. Divide the Chana Chaat into serving bowls.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.
