Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup green peas, boiled

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 4 whole pav (bread rolls), toasted with butter
  • 1 Tbsp cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté the capsicum until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they break down and form a sauce, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the boiled peas and mashed potatoes, mixing well to combine.
  4. Sprinkle the pav bhaji masala over the vegetable mixture. Add salt and a small amount of water if needed for consistency.
  5. Mash the mixture thoroughly using a masher or the back of a spoon. Simmer for 10 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with toasted pav.
