Ingredients

  • 1 medium savoy cabbage leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove the cabbage leaves from the head and blanch them in the boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove and let them cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix the rice, ground meat, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Place a spoonful of the filling in each cabbage leaf and roll them up, tucking in the sides to secure the filling.
  5. Arrange the cabbage rolls in a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
