  • 1 cup farro, cooked
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 whole lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 jar grape leaves, drained

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked farro, pine nuts, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place a grape leaf flat on a cutting board and spoon 1-2 tablespoons of the farro mixture onto the center of the leaf.
  4. Fold the sides of the leaf over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  5. Repeat with the remaining grape leaves and farro mixture.
  6. Arrange the stuffed grape leaves, seam side down, in a baking dish.
  7. Cover the dish with foil to prevent drying out.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the grape leaves are heated through.
  9. Serve warm.
