  • 12 ounces pappardelle pasta

  2. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot, sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, red wine, beef broth, tomato paste, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer the sauce for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally to meld the flavors.
  5. About 15 minutes before the sauce is ready, cook the pappardelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the sauce is ready, toss the cooked pasta with the ragù sauce until well-coated.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
