Ingredients

  • 12 oz box jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 5 oz fresh spinach, chopped
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage and spinach mixture with ricotta, parmesan, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Using a spoon, stuff each pasta shell with the sausage and cheese mixture and place in a baking dish.
  6. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, cover the dish with foil, and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
