Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns

Instructions
- Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and gently shape them into balls without overpacking.
- Preheat a 9" skillet over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil.
- Place one beef ball in the skillet and smash it flat with a spatula to form a patty. Season with salt and pepper.
