  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter

Instructions

  2. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and brown on all sides for approximately 8 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, then add the rosemary and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine the flour, milk, and a pinch of salt to form a dough.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth. Cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes, allowing the dumplings to cook through.
  6. Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed before serving.
