Ingredients
- 8 slices rye bread
- 1 pound corned beef, thinly sliced
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1/2 cup Russian dressing
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
- On the unbuttered side of four slices, layer corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and a drizzle of Russian dressing.
- Top each with another slice of bread, buttered side out, to form a sandwich.
- Grill each sandwich in the skillet until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Cut sandwiches in half before serving.
