Hot Chocolate Bombs

Ingredients

  • 1 whole hot cocoa mix
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 Tbsp sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  2. Using a spoon, coat the inside of half-sphere molds with the melted chocolate to create an even shell.
  3. Chill the molds in the refrigerator until the chocolate is set, then carefully remove the chocolate shells.
  4. Fill half of the chocolate shells with hot cocoa mix, mini marshmallows, and sprinkles.
  5. Heat a plate until warm, then gently press the edge of an empty chocolate shell onto the plate to melt slightly.
  6. Place the melted edge on top of a filled shell to seal the hot chocolate bomb.
  7. To enjoy, place a chocolate bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it, stirring until the chocolate melts completely and the contents are released.
