- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cups sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.

- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic.
- Cook the garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth.
- Add Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, thyme, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, let it thicken slightly, and then return the chicken breasts to the skillet.
- Simmer the chicken in the sauce for about 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving. Enjoy with your choice of pasta or rice.
