Ingredients
- 4 burger buns
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup onion rings
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Season each side with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- While the burgers are grilling, toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.
- To assemble the burgers, place a grilled patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top each with 2 slices of bacon, a slice of cheddar cheese, a spoonful of BBQ sauce, onion rings, lettuce, and sliced tomato. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the top buns and place them on top of the assembled burgers.
