Ingredients

  • 2 medium chicken breasts, shredded
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups noodles
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, increase heat to bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Add noodles and cook until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the milk and heat through without boiling. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
