- Carefully fold the edges of the dough over the filling and roll into smooth balls.
- In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil and dissolve 1/4 cup of sugar in it to make a sweet syrup.
- Gently drop the rice balls into the boiling syrup. Stir them occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Cook until the rice balls float to the surface, indicating they are done, approximately 3 to 4 minutes.
- Serve the glutinous rice balls hot in the sweet syrup.
