  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the halved strawberries on a baking sheet and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and 1/4 cup of sugar. Toss to coat.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the strawberries are soft and syrupy. Stir occasionally.
  4. Remove from oven and let the strawberries cool completely, then mash them lightly with a fork.
