Create a delightful surprise with hot chocolate bombs, a treat that melts into a warm, rich drink when added to hot milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 tablespoons hot cocoa mix
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 6 silicone sphere molds

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate chips gently in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  2. Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into each half-sphere mold and spread to coat evenly. Let set for 10 minutes in the fridge.
  3. Carefully remove the set chocolate from the molds.
  4. In half of the spheres, add 1 tablespoon of hot cocoa mix and several mini marshmallows.
  5. Warm the edges of an empty chocolate half gently and press it against a filled half to seal, forming a complete sphere.
  6. Repeat until all chocolate bombs are assembled.
  7. Store the hot chocolate bombs in an airtight container until ready to use.
  8. To serve, place a hot chocolate bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it. Stir until completely melted and enjoy.
