  • 1 lb pizza dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced onions until they turn translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped spinach, pine nuts, sumac, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes until the spinach wilts. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
  4. Divide the pizza dough into six equal-sized balls.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each ball into a 6-inch circle.
  6. Place a spoonful of the cooled spinach mixture in the center of each circle.
  7. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to form a triangle shape. Pinch the edges firmly to seal each pie.
  8. Arrange the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each pie.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dough turns golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
