These fig and almond protein bites are a quick, nutritious snack offering a delightful combination of earthy figs and nutty almonds.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried figs, chopped
- 1 cup almonds, roasted
- 1/2 cup protein powder, vanilla flavor
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chopped figs and roasted almonds. Pulse until fine crumbs form.
- Add the vanilla protein powder, honey, and chia seeds to the mixture. Process until the ingredients are well combined and form a sticky dough.
- Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Place the protein bites on a tray and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow them to firm up.
