Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 head butter lettuce
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, making sure to crumble the chicken as it cooks.
- Stir in garlic and onion, and cook until onions become translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and sriracha until well combined.
- Add water chestnuts and green onions, cook for another 2 minutes until the green onions are tender.
- Spoon several tablespoons of the chicken mixture into the center of a lettuce leaf, taco-style.
