Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook the macaroni in boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and mustard powder, cooking for about a minute until bubbly.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the drained and rinsed white beans to the cheese sauce, mixing thoroughly.
  7. Combine the cooked macaroni and cheese bean mixture in the prepared baking dish.
