  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead on a floured surface for about 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
