Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly oil a baking sheet.
  3. Align the bacon strips next to each other and place an asparagus spear at one end of each bacon slice. Roll the bacon tightly around the asparagus.
  4. Arrange the wrapped spears on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Drizzle olive oil evenly over the wrapped asparagus.
  6. Evenly sprinkle garlic powder over the spears.
  7. Place in the oven and bake until the bacon is crispy and asparagus is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle grated Parmesan over the hot asparagus.
  9. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
