These skewers bring a burst of flavor with spicy Cajun seasoning, tender shrimp, and smoky sausage.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 ounces andouille sausage, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic, and lemon juice.
- Add shrimp and sausage to the bowl, tossing to coat thoroughly with the seasoning mixture.
- Thread shrimp, sausage, red and green bell peppers, and red onion onto skewers, alternating ingredients.
- Place skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 5-6 minutes, turning halfway through, until shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
