This version of chicken carbonara replaces traditional bacon with tender chicken pieces, making it a hearty choice for pasta lovers. This dish combines the creaminess of heavy cream and Parmesan with the savory flavors of garlic and chicken, all served with al dente spaghetti. Suitable for a relaxed evening at home or a delightful meal with loved ones, this recipe delivers a comforting experience with every forkful.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Spaghetti
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, diced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of water with a pinch of salt and cook the spaghetti as per the package instructions until it is al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 2 minutes until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Gradually pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Slowly stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until the cheese has completely melted into a smooth sauce.
  4. Add the previously cooked, diced chicken to the cream sauce, allowing it to warm through. Then, add the cooked spaghetti, tossing everything together to ensure the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
  5. Serve the pasta warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
