Crispy baked pita chips meet creamy garlic herb hummus for a snack that's both crunchy and smooth.
Ingredients
- 4 pita breads, cut into wedges
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the pita wedges on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the pita wedges and season with sea salt and black pepper.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let cool.
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and water.
- Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
- Stir in chopped parsley, ground cumin, and salt to taste.
- Serve the hummus in a bowl alongside the pita chips.
