Combine the rich flavors of honey and Sriracha with succulent salmon and linguine for a delightful meal with a kick.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 salmon fillets
- 8 ounces linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 scallions, sliced
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the glaze.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and brush with the honey Sriracha glaze.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger for 1 minute.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss with the garlic and ginger.
- Divide the linguine among plates, top each with a glazed salmon fillet.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions over the salmon and serve immediately.
