Enjoy a refreshing Lavender Blueberry Fizz, featuring a homemade lavender infusion to add a floral twist.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup club soda
- 4-5 ice cubes
- 1 sprig fresh lavender, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine dried lavender flowers and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Strain the lavender infusion to remove the flowers, and pour the liquid back into the saucepan.
- Add granulated sugar to the saucepan and stir until dissolved. Allow syrup to cool completely.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle fresh blueberries with lemon juice.
- Add 2 tablespoons of the lavender syrup and ice cubes. Shake well.
- Strain and pour into a glass filled halfway with fresh ice cubes.
- Top with club soda and stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender and serve immediately.
