Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 beaten egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic in a skillet until translucent and aromatic.
  3. Add the spinach and cook until it wilts, then season with oregano and black pepper, and stir well.
  4. Allow the spinach mixture to cool off the heat.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into even squares.
  6. Distribute the spinach mixture on one-half of each square and top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  7. Fold over the pastry to form pockets and press the edges with a fork to seal.
  8. Brush the tops of the pockets with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
