Ingredients

  • 1 whole fully-cooked bone-in ham
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 20 oz can pineapple tidbits, drained

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and place it in a roasting pan.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar; bring to a boil over medium heat.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and cold water until smooth, then stir it into the saucepan.
  5. Cook and stir the mixture until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  6. Brush the ham with some of the glaze, and bake uncovered for 1 hour in the preheated oven.
  7. Baste the ham with more glaze and arrange the pineapple tidbits around it; bake for an additional hour.
  8. Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing, and serve with the remaining glaze on the side.
