Ingredients

  • 1 box ziti pasta
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 bunch spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta following package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  3. Mix ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, and dried oregano in a large bowl. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary, based on your taste preference.
  4. Grease a baking dish and layer half of the cooked ziti pasta. Top with half of the marinara sauce, then spread half of the ricotta-spinach mixture, and sprinkle half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses over it. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese on top becomes bubbly and gains a golden color.
  6. Allow the baked ziti to cool for a few minutes before serving to ensure it sets slightly for easier serving.
