Tender BBQ ribs with a sweet and tangy Coca-Cola glaze. Perfect for summer cookouts or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1 1/2 cups Coca-Cola
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the ribs with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours, until tender.
- In a saucepan, combine Coca-Cola, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them.
- Brush the ribs generously with the Coca-Cola glaze and place on the grill.
- Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning and basting with more glaze until the ribs are caramelized and slightly charred.
- Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
