Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 1/2 cups Coca-Cola
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours, until tender.
  5. In a saucepan, combine Coca-Cola, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  6. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  7. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  8. Remove ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them.
  9. Brush the ribs generously with the Coca-Cola glaze and place on the grill.
  10. Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning and basting with more glaze until the ribs are caramelized and slightly charred.
  11. Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
