Ingredients
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 cup whole almonds
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine desiccated coconut and sweetened condensed milk until well mixed.
- Spread the coconut mixture evenly in an 8" x 8" pan, pressing down firmly to create an even layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the chilled coconut mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Scatter whole almonds on top, pressing them slightly into the chocolate.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate is fully set, about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cut into bars and serve. Store leftovers in the fridge.
