Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry dough
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips about 1 inch wide.
  3. Wrap each strip of dough around a horn mold, slightly overlapping the edges to ensure a secure shell.
  4. Place the wrapped molds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow the pastry horns to cool slightly before gently removing from the molds.
  6. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
  7. Once the pastry horns have completely cooled, spoon or pipe the whipped cream mixture into each horn until filled.
  8. Arrange the cream horns on a serving platter.
