- In a bowl, combine soy sauce and calamansi juice. Marinate beef slices in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering. Add onions and sauté until caramelized, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, increase heat to medium-high. Add beef slices in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned and tender.
- Return the sautéed onions to the pan, placing them on top of the beef slices. Cook for an additional 1 minute to combine flavors.
