Sinigang Soup is a traditional Filipino dish prized for its savory and sour broth, made with tender pork ribs and a selection of hearty vegetables like radish and water spinach. The soup’s tangy profile, largely attributed to the tamarind base, makes it a comforting meal, especially on cool days. Preparing this soup involves gently simmering ingredients, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully. Sinigang’s versatility and flavor make it a favored option for any meal occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pork ribs
- 10 cups water
- 1 packet tamarind soup base
